The ‘Sunnukiah’ is a solar and battery-powered channukiah, created for Waverley Council in partnership with the Jewish Climate Network.
The ‘Sunnukiah’ was installed on December 13, 2025, in Dover Heights, and the first light was illuminated at sunset on December 14.
After the anti-semitic shooting at Bondi Beach on December 14 2025, the Sunnukiah was moved to Archer park as a temporary memorial to the victims of the attack.
